Certificate verification

Verify a certificate of analysis

Enter the COA number and the access code printed on the certificate. Anyone holding a Summit certificate can confirm it against our records — no account and no request form.

Where the numbers are

Both are printed on the certificate: the COA number appears at the top right beside the Summit logo, and the access code sits in the signature block at the bottom, under the lab director's name.

Why we ask for both

A COA number alone would let anyone walk the database and enumerate our clients and their testing history. Requiring the code means whoever holds a certificate can verify it independently, without exposing every other client's results to the open internet.

If the code does not work

Check for a mistyped character — codes never contain the letters O or I, so a character that looks like one is a zero or a one. If it still fails, the certificate did not come from us; send it to the lab and we will look into it.

Want a certificate of your own?

Every result Summit issues comes with a COA number and access code you can hand to your customers so they can check the batch themselves.
